I'm a third year undergraduate student specialising in Genetics (or I will be, in October!). I study at a pretty well-known university, and they work us all pretty hard too. It's easy to get bogged down in the day-to-day routine of lectures and reading and essays, and to forget why science is exciting and why I wanted to study it in the first place. I read blogs, and write, to remind myself of that.
In between lectures, essays, student life and occasionally some sleep, I like to bake, take photos with a camera that is far better than my photography skills deserve, and drink copious amounts of tea!
